Enduring Legacy of Global Support
For more than fifty years Supreme Group has provided critical, life-sustaining services that empower military forces to accomplish missions in challenging and austere environments around the globe.
The legacy began in 1957, when a former US Army foodservice soldier recognized the need to provide food supply solutions to US military installations in Germany. After demonstrating unparalleled quality and efficiency in supplying US troops, Supreme Group expanded into the Middle East, supplying United Nations operations in Egypt and Lebanon.
Over the ensuing years, the Supreme Group supply network grew throughout Africa and the Balkans with diversified services to match the complex logistical needs of sophisticated military operations. During this growth period, Supreme Group forged strong, lasting partnerships with the US Department of Defense (DOD), and the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD).
In the 2000’s, the rising tensions and ongoing conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan provided Supreme Group with further opportunities to provide military forces with the supply chain network and service solutions that improved performance and quality of life while in theater.
During this period, Supreme developed the industry’s most efficient fuel supply, storage, testing and delivery systems, effectively powering the US, UK, and UN security forces both in the air and on the ground. Supreme demonstrated total solutions capabilities by building, supplying, operating and maintaining storage and living facilities from the ground up, outside the wire.
In 2005, Supreme was awarded the Subsistence Prime Vendor (SPV) contract by the US Department of Defense to provide all food service and food supply logistics to deployed US troops. Thanks to Supreme, soldiers were able to experience some of the simple comforts of home, while risking their lives in combat every day.
As the Afghanistan conflict scaled down, Supreme shifted its focus to the reverse end-to-end supply chain in support of the retrograde effort to remove military equipment from Afghanistan. At the same time, Supreme Group leveraged its success in supplying military forces to offer innovative end-to-end supply chain solutions to clients in the energy and extractives sector. The same rapid deployment capabilities and ability to overcome obstacles in austere environments that ensured Supreme’s success in military settings empowered the company to deliver integrated supply chain solutions to oil and gas, alternative energy and mining facilities from Mongolia to Africa.
In June 2014, Supreme completed its first acquisition, a global maritime services group called EMS Seven Seas. EMS Seven Seas provides general ship supplies, provisions, stores, spare parts and leading technical maritime brands through its extensive network, serving customers in 600 ports. Founded in 1971, EMS Seven Seas primarily operates in Norway, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Germany, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Djibouti, and Singapore. There are more than 1,000 EMS Seven Seas employees around the world, with around 400 people based in the UAE. Their clients include leading ship managers and owners, professional catering businesses, military operations and offshore platforms. Like Supreme, EMS Seven Seas has a reputation for delivering exceptionally high levels of customer service, built on a strong performance culture. This acquisition represents a major milestone in our strategy to further expand into commercial and defense markets.
There are no limits to where we can go or what we can accomplish. At Supreme Group, our legacy of performance demonstrates our capacity for the future. Integrated supply chain solutions, worldwide.
