Supreme Group sponsors Paralyzed Veterans Golf Open in Washington for fourth year

2 July 2014 - Supreme Group, a global leader in the provision of end to end supply chain solutions in challenging environments around the world, has sponsored the Paralyzed Veterans Golf Open (PVGO) event in Washington, United States recently. The event helped to raise more than USD 400,000 for Operation PAVE (Paving Access for Veterans Employment), an initiative that aims to assist disabled veterans find employment. The event, in which 37 veterans participated, was held in June 2014 and was attended by VIPs from the military services, congress, government agencies and the business community.

“This is the fourth year that Supreme has sponsored this event, as we really believe in supporting our clients wherever they may be – on the front lines or at home. We have been working with the U.S. Military in various locations around the world since 1957, and we are extremely proud of the strong relationship and excellent reputation we have established with our client over the years,” said David Roman, Supreme’s Manager for Professional Associations.

Supreme was one of several other sponsors of the PVGO event. In addition to Operation PAVE, Supreme supports several veterans groups, charitable organizations, and charity events through associations. These include the Association of the United States Army (AUSA), Marine Association, National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), Wounded Warriors Association, and the National Defense Transportation Association (NDTA), among others.
