20 August 2013, Kabul, Afghanistan: Children at the Tomorrow’s Hope Foundation orphanage in Kabul celebrated Eid recently with gift boxes donated by Supreme Foundation. The gift boxes, which included toys, educational supplies and hygiene items, were donated by Supreme’s employees and friends around the world, flown into Afghanistan and then distributed to the children at the orphanage.
“Children normally receive gifts from their parents and relatives during Eid, but these children miss out because they are orphans with no family,” said Ibrahim Raim, Orphanage Manager, Tomorrow’s Hope Foundation. “The children were very happy to receive their boxes and had a lot of fun opening their gifts and enjoying the Eid celebration with Supreme employees. I could see the happiness in their smiles and in their faces, which is unforgettable. Thank you for your kindness for the children,” he said.
Victoria Frost, Supreme Group’s Director of Communications and Treasurer of Supreme Foundation, added: “The Eid box campaign is an annual event that we arrange for the orphanage, in addition to the other activities that we organize to help alleviate hardship and improve the health, education and living conditions of the disadvantaged children. We understand that a small act like this can brighten the lives of these children considerably so we are very happy to have the full support of our employees, who donate generously and support the campaigns in every way.”
